CULTURAL CAPITAL OF EUROPE TARTU 2024
OPENING CEREMONY
The opening ceremony for Tartu 2024, when Tartu, Estonia, served as the European Capital of Culture, was a spectacular event held on January 26, 2024. The day was packed with diverse activities and celebrations.
The festivities began with a Children's Disco for kindergarten groups, followed by a warm-up party in Tartu Town Hall Square featuring electronic music to set a lively tone for the day (Tartu 2024). The grand opening ceremony, titled "All Becomes One!", took place in the city center on the banks of the Emajõgi River. This event featured performances by over 100 artists, including beloved Estonian acts such as Trad.Attack! and Sander Mölder, as well as local children and elders.’
The live broadcast was complicated, involving 18 cameras, including two Steadicams, two Jimmy-jibs, a drone, and a cable cam. The entire show was captured with the help of the LiveEdit automated system. It was also difficult, as the event occurred outside in challenging weather conditions, with rain and snow making the task even more demanding. Despite the adverse elements, the team managed to deliver a seamless production, showcasing their equipment's robustness and the LiveEdit system's efficiency.
Viljandi FOLK
Nearly 30 hours of live broadcast was produced this year for Telia’s Inspira channel from the annual Folk Music Festval “Viljandi Folk”. The production was captured with OB and 8 camereras, including one crane.

Tallinn FIS World Cup 2023
Our capital, Tallinn hosted the penultimate competitions in the FIS cross-country skiing World Cup on the 21st of March 2023.
Cross-country skiing sprint events are a dynamic and exciting part of the sport, involving short and intense races that showcase athletes' speed, agility, and technique.
Due to the short and intense nature of sprint events, they are often popular among spectators and TV audiences. The frequent head-to-head racing, lead changes, and rapid pace make for thrilling viewing.
We captured that action-packed event with 12 cameras, including Jimmy-Jib’s and Cable-cam.
